the quotidian (4.13.20)

Quotidian: daily, usual or customary;
everyday; ordinary; commonplace

Chocolate-covered peanut butter.

Looks boring; didn't taste boring.

Making sure everyone gets their greens and purples.

He made the eggs and the egg holders.

He was craving plantains.

When potato chips fly.

Individually together.

Halo-ed: After listening to my husband and I talk, my son made conversational illustrations.

My husband didn't fare so well.

A fix in progress.

Now Ellie steps on command.

I miss frisbee.

This same time, years previous: feeding my family, gado gado, right now, the quotidian (4.13.15), the quotidian (4.14.14), fun and fiasco 1, wild hair.

  1. Doesn't your dog play Frisbee? My Border Collies sure do. Young BC Ian thoughtfully dropped the Frisbee in the pond, but luckily I waded in and rescued it or their Easter would have been ruined!!

    1. Coco doesn't go after the frisbee at all, weirdly enough --- only balls. Maybe she'll catch on (haha) eventually?

  2. What is the meat that looks "boring" but is delicious?

Also, those conversational illustrations are brilliant! Might have to do this for some conversations that happen here!

    1. Soup bones that I braised in the Dutch oven with red wine, garlic, and lots of pepper. It's the recipe for peposo (, more or less.
