the quotidian (1.6.14)

Quotidian: daily, usual or customary;
everyday; ordinary; commonplace

The last of the Christmas pretzels.

Clowning cousins.

Just another one of their random games.

Slowly but surely: I am doing it.

Sick girl in a ballgown.

A Christmas present from my husband's mother to my older daughter:
my daughter's great grandmother's wedding dishes.

Learning the proportions of the face.

(And dead.)

The end of Christmas.

  1. oh my WORD - I just cleaned up a crap ton of needles and why did it never occur to me to take the tree out in a sheet?!!! I was so glad to see that tree leave!

  2. I hope the spirits of all beautiful wild birds will forgive me, but I laughed at "Red. (And dead.)"

  3. Red and Dead made me laugh.

    I always love your picture. You always seem to catch the perfect moments.

  4. Your "Quotidian" posts are always fun. Thank you for the peek into your life. Happy Week to you! Camille :)

  5. Red and dead as in look Mom I found a dead bird or Red and dead as in Christmas tree ornament?

  6. That ball gown looks like one Mavis got at a thrift store?? If you are feeling sick you might as well dress up for the occasion.
