the quotidian (6.12.17)

Quotidian: daily, usual or customary;
everyday; ordinary; commonplace

Pupusas!

These days, the chickens eat well.

And so do I.

What I make when I need a bread fix, and quick.

Fruit murderer.

First river outing.

A surprise for the kids.

Boing.

Princess Buttercup.

At a friend’s house: my new spot.

Extravagant, a hostess gift.

This same time, years previous: mud cake, the quotidian (6.10.13), the smartest thing I did, the quotidian (6.11.12), stuff, garbled, mint tea concentrate, concerning cilantro, strawberry shortcake.

    I read back on the same time previous year link and saw the one for mint tea concentrate. I printed it off but it was from 2011. You said you were going to lower the sugar amount. Did you? Are you still happy with that recipe? We always have lots of mint but I've never made up the concentrate before, just individual pitchers of tea.

      Just the other day, I was looking back at the recipe and asking the very same question about the sugar. Since I never made a note of it, I don't think I ever did decrease the amount. Besides, everyone else loves it (including me), so maybe I decided not to bother? I'm actually gearing up to make a batch this week…if I can find someone with an excess of mint. My two patches aren't doing so hot this year.

    Oh! Pupusas! I have a faint tingling memory that Ben came across this recipe in a children's book one time. . . ? And we made them? And I thought maybe they could be better, lots of potential….??? Help a girl out with a recipe, please!

    Your daughter should be on CMC's website with that pose from the trampoline and that shirt on! I can imagine the captions…
